Zach LaVine was the man the Cleveland Cavaliers defense needed to stop tonight.
Instead, LaVine went off for a big game against the Cavs yet again, notching 44 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists for a 118-106 Bulls victory.
Kevin Love led the charge for the home squad with a double-double, scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Cedi Osman followed up 18 points and 6 assists in the seventh straight overall loss for the Cavaliers.
The team also lost its seventh straight at home.
Coach John Beilein preached the need for defensive improvement and stopping LaVine during his pregame press conference, neither of which happened.
Despite Beilein canceling shootaround in the afternoon in favor of resting up prior to the game, the Wine and Gold fell off the pace in the second half.
While LaVine started strong, the Cavs led by 11 points during the second quarter, only to see the Chicago guard decimate the Cavaliers defense.
The Cavs are now faced with a frustrating amount of losses piling up.
The trade deadline is just under two weeks away, with veterans Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson possibly being traded.
