Describe your show:
For The Record is a weekly show that focuses on urban pop culture and all things music. Every week we have a new fresh playlist full of hits, classics and new songs from new artists.
How did you come up with your show concept:
I came up with the concept by one night by watching Urban Legend, the one with Tara Reid. She had a cool radio show so I kind of tweaked it to make it my own.
What do you do in your free time:
In my free time I like to binge Netflix and eat all of the junk food possible.
Who are some of your favorite bands/artists:
I’m a big fan of Beyoncé, Normani, Aaliyah, Maxwell, Miguel and Aminé
What was your favorite show moment:
My favorite show moment was when I had my friend on air with me. It was hilarious.
What is your favorite thing about BSR:
My favorite thing about BSR is how we are all so different but somehow fit so well.
What is your favorite BSR memory:
My favorite memory was when I got to DJ an event. Who knew that’s would be so fun.
Who is an artist you think more people should like:
Miguel, that man is a vocalist that makes bomb music. It’s sad he doesn’t get more recognition.
Who do you think is the most overrated in music today:
Most overrated today is Drake. He makes good songs but radio overplays him a lot.
If you could see anyone in concert who would it be and why:
I would probably Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Whitney, and Mariah in their prime. That would be an experience.
Who would be your dream duet:
My dream duet would probably be with Aaliyah or Beyoncé.
