A Q&A with “Ramble On”

Written by on April 16, 2020

Even though the COVID-19 pandemic forced Black Squirrel Radio to suspend its programming for the reminder of the spring 2020 semester, our DJ’s are always in the back of the mind of the BSR staff.

With that in mind, BSR reached out to DJ’s for a Q&A to see what they have been up to during this difficult time.

Today’s Q&A is with Ella Carpenter, host of “Ramble On”, which aired this semester on Sunday afternoons from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Q: During this difficult time, how are you staying busy?

A: Digital illustrations, painting, baking, watching lots of movies and TV.

Q: How hard has it been to concentrate on school since moving to remote learning?

A: Pretty difficult. Honestly, you tend to forget you even have school sometimes.

Q: Do you plan on coming back to BSR in the fall, and what will you have planned for your show?

A: I do plan on coming back and trying the same show again.

Q: On a scale of 1-10 (1 being the lowest), how much do you miss doing your show?

A: 100! I miss my show!

Check out Ramble On’s Twitter and Instagram and make sure to keep it locked on blacksqurirrelradio.com for more Q&A’s with our DJ’s during this difficult time. Also, be on the lookout for some RAD content, including album reviews, tv show reviews, opinion pieces, and MORE!

Continue to be safe and healthy, and always remember:

BE NUTS FOR BSR!
