A group of us in Black Squirrel Entertainment got together to try Hungry Howie’s new Chicken & Waffles pizza, and we had mixed reviews about it. Here are our individual thoughts on it:
Anthony Furiga: “I thought it was good. I think the idea of the pizza is akin to eating pizza with hot honey, so I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad idea. I would take away the waffle pieces to be honest. 6/10.”
Katie Waggle: “I think it’s a really good pizza. I don’t think it was the quality for the price ($15.99), and I would take away the syrup. 6/10.”
Annemarie Karabinus: “It was a pizza of all time. Definitely unique. It wasn’t horrible. Sticky. 6.5/10.”
Nick Thaman: “It tasted good but it felt wrong, like it shouldn’t have been made or existed. I wouldn’t eat it again. 5/10.”
Jillian Arthur: “It was actually pretty good. I am really picky when it comes to pizza, specifically the sauce. I don’t like red sauce, and there was no red sauce, so that helped. I wish the syrup didn’t sink to the bottom because I had to wash my hands. 7.5/10.”
Holland McNamara: “I thought the pizza was a clash of too many things at once, which made it bland overall. W for the syrup though. 4/10.”
