Legendary rockstar Tom Petty, who was best known for fronting Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers has died at the age off 66.
After being found in his Malibu home unconscious due to an apparent heart attack on Sunday night, Petty was taken to a nearby hospital and put on life support. He was removed from life support late Monday afternoon after being found to have no brain activity.
Petty will leave an incredible legacy of music behind in his absence. He and the Heartbreakers released 13 studio albums and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
