The Cleveland House of Blues saw a Canadian invasion on Monday, October 30. The Canadian post-grunge band, Our Lady Peace rocked the HOB as a part of their 20 Years of Clumsy tour.
Released on January 23, 1997, Clumsy was Our Lady Peace’s second studio album. “Superman’s Dead” and “Automatic Flowers” were two of the five singles off of Clumsy and were the first two songs to open the Cleveland show.
Raine Maida, lead singer of Our Lady Peace, belted out the songs with sheer perfection just as he did when originally recorded the songs two decades ago.
With a full house, the band played six songs from Clumsy along with a couple of songs from their new EP, Somethingness. The tour hits the Midwest this week and ends on November 21 in Los Angeles, California at the El Rey Theatre.
