Even though the COVID-19 pandemic forced Black Squirrel Radio to suspend its programming for the reminder of the spring 2020 semester, our DJ’s are always in the back of the mind of the BSR staff.
With that in mind, BSR reached out to DJ’s for a Q&A to see what they have been up to during this difficult time.
Today’s Q&A is with Isabelle English and Lhillian Brown of “The Modern Punkers”, which aired this semester on Saturday nights from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Q: During this difficult time, how are you staying busy?
A: Lilly and I have been trading our nintendo switch to make progress on our animal crossing island. I am also making oil pastel drawings to pass the time.
Q: How hard has it been to concentrate on school since moving to remote learning?
A: School is always hard for us, so it is not entirely that different although it does take more motivation to work in the day.
Q: Do you plan on coming back to BSR in the fall, and what will you have planned for your show?
A: Isabelle plans on coming back to BSR in the fall. They plan on scheduling interviews right away this semester since we lost out.
Q: On a scale of 1-10 (1 being the lowest), how much do you miss doing your show?
A: 8
Check out Modern Punkers Facebook Page and make sure to keep it locked on blacksqurirrelradio.com for more Q&A’s with our DJ’s during this difficult time. Also, be on the lookout for some RAD content, including album reviews, tv show reviews, opinion pieces, and MORE!
Continue to be safe and healthy, and always remember:
