Every week of programming we will be highlighting the Black Squirrel Radio Show of the Week! This week’s show is Movements in Music!

Movements in Music airs every Wednesday from 4PM-6PM and is hosted by Taylor Pierce & Hana Barkowitz

What goes on during a normal week of Movements in Music?
MiM: We jam and play some of our favorite songs from various decades. We talk all about our favorite artists and pretty much anything that we feel is appropriate.

When not hosting “Movements in Music”, what do you do in your free time?
MiM: I’ve recently started a record collection, I’m attempting to learn piano and spend about 75% of my time watching the Cleveland Indians –Pierce I’m classically trained in voice so I try to keep that up, I jam on my ukulele, and I hang out with my pals! I also love trying out new tea. –Barkowitz

What are your majors?
MiM:: Public Relations, Marketing Minor. –Pierce Public Relations / Political Science minor –Barkowitz

What is the best part about having a show on BSR?
MiM: Being able to jam every week with my dear friend Hana. We’ve received so much love and support, and I feel really grateful to be able to share some of my favorite music with so many kind people –Pierce Just having two hours in the middle of the week to relax and jam to our favorite tunes is such a joy. We’re really lucky! –Barkowitz

Favorite BSR memory?
MiM: Being the top 4th listened to show our very first week on air! That’s amazing, I was so happy to find out. –PierceI love hanging out with our buds Brooke and Ryan in the studio! –Barkowitz

If you could have any guest on your show, who would they be?
MiM: I would have John Mayer on, because I am his biggest fan and I would love to get his opinions on so many topics –Pierce/ I would have Joni Mitchell. She is my favorite and most transformational artist and I would DIE to hear her sing live. –Barkowitz
