For an “everyday man’s'” guide to overcoming life’s many obstacles listen to Friiidaze every Friday only on Black Squirrel Radio!
How did you come up with your show concept:
Aaron: The relativeness of life inspired the concept of “the daze” which we have coined as a term that means your own individual reality, dictated by your experiences, environment & expectations
Stacee: We sit down everyday and try to map out a path out of the “Daze”, why not share it?
What do you do in your free time:
Aaron: Create music, build my brand, & study the culture
Stacee: Photography/videography, recording music and producing events.
Who are some of your favorite bands/artists:
Aaron: J Cole, 50 Cent, Protoje, Runkus, Popcaan
Stacee: J. Cole, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, Childish Gambino.
Favorite show moment of the semester:
Aaron: Every FriiiStyle FriiiDaze, a segment on the show where we have our guest artist(s) freestyle for 5-10minutes, always seems to produce an organic vibe and great energy
Stacee: EVERY FriiiSyle FriiiDaze moment.
Favorite BSR memory:
Aaron: Last year getting recognized as the number 8 show
Stacee: Getting the award for 8 th overall show on the Fall 2016 roster.
What do you hope your show legacy is:
Aaron: I want it to carry on as inspiration to those that strive to be different & those that hope to push the culture forward
Stacee: Conquer the “Daze” with confidence, with collaboration, and with concentration. Stay live and lit through the thick of it.
