Every week of programing we will be highlighting the Black Squirrel Radio Show of the Week!
This week’s show is Can’t Wait for the Next Pangea
Can’t Wait for the Next Pangea airs every Wednesday from Midnight to 2 AM. Hosts freshman studio arts major Kate Rossello and freshman earth science major Rachel Matonis are new to BSR with their show in its first semester.
Describe your show:
Kate: Our show is like a really long awkward car ride with really good music here and there but like also ironic music.
How did you come up with your show name?
Kate: We are just really excited for the next supercontinent.
Who are some of your favorite bands/artists?
Kate and Rachel: Ty Segall, The Growlers, The Orwells, Bright Eyes and The Shins
What is your current favorite landmass?
Kate: I hate all the land masses because nothing compares to the Pangea that once was and will inevitably reappear.
Rachel: I prefer Pangea.
If you could you could be any fictional character who would you be and why?
Kate: If i could be any fictional character it would be Scooby-Doo because Rachel hates Scooby-Doo.
Rachel: Melvin Doo from the Scooby-Doo movie because he’s not Scooby-Doo.
If your show were a rock or mineral what would it be and why?
Kate: Our show would be shale for no particular reason.
