PODCAST: Introducing, The Cellular Regeneration and Entertainment Chamber

The Cellular Regeneration and Entertainment Chamber is an exploration of the Star Trek counterculture by two Deep Space Nine enthusiasts. Each installment, the cohosts, Bengt George and Brianna Foraker, will watch and review a different Star Trek film. The episode will summarize and then analyze the sci-fi movie from a leftist perspective with a guest who is entirely new to the Star Trek universe. Finally, the hosts will blaspheme the original series by detailing how the movie would be infinitely superior if it were starring Deep Space Nine characters.

The inaugural episode of the podcast, “Pro-Human Propaganda” is a light-hearted leftist commentary of the first film, Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979) with guest Claire Bobel. It will provide an intro of the organization and essence of the podcast followed by contemplation of concepts ranging from “jumpsuits” to “the morality of humanity.”
